Federal Judge Vacates Kennedy Declaration, Permanently Blocks Trump's Trans Youth Care Hospital Threats The judgment overturns the Kennedy Declaration which has been used to force 40 hospitals to drop trans youth care.

1. This weekend, a federal judge permanently blocked funding threats to providers and hospitals that provide trans youth care.

The judge also blocked "any similar policy."

Hospitals have NO excuse and must return to providing care under many blue state laws.

WARREN: Name one aspect of President Trump's economic agenda with which you disagree

KEVIN WARSH: He said he thought I'm out of central casting. I think I'd look older, grayer, and maybe show up with a cigar

WARREN: That's not my question. Are you refusing to tell us if you have investments in vehicles set up by Jeffrey Epstein?

Warsh may be a reasonable guy and capable economist just playing a role here. But if integrity and independence are qualities we value in a Fed Chief, he does not have them.

Every nominee who dodges this question tells us that they have no meaningful commitment to American democracy.

ELIZABETH WARREN: Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?

KEVIN WARSH: Uhm, we try to keep politics if I'm confirmed out of the Federal Reserve

WARREN: I'm just asking a factual question

WARSH: I believe this body certified the election

WARREN: That's not the question I'm asking

Sen. Jack Reed to Warsh as he dodges questions about divesting his assets: "Excuse me. I must commend you on the way you can circularly go around questions and not answer them. It's a skill. Unfortunately it's not a good skill for the chairman of the Fed."

Sen. Kennedy to Warsh: "My worry is that a lot of this stuff about artificial intelligence making us more productive is a bunch of hype by people who want to sell stock and an IPO. I'd be careful there."

VAN HOLLEN: If the central bank were to cut rates, that would typically push prices up, right?

WARSH: Unlike many of my colleagues, I don't believe I should be previewing what a future decision might be
