I Travelled to Europe on the First Official Day of EES - Here’s What Happened What can you expect from EES now that it’s launched, what checks are in place and how does it actually affect UK passengers?

Chelsea Holiday Expert had a similar experience in Porto yesterday. Her chat with the agent (in the story) is quite the summary of WTF is (not) going on. holidayexpert.com/i-travelled-...

If it broke on Good Friday I’m expecting big miraculous things from the coffee machine this afternoon.

@tomwarren.co.uk Patiently awaiting your response to the Agile rates that have just dropped! 😆

I think “To Earth With Love” scrapes through at a full excellent song, but we probably need to down rate any other candidate as a result?

What a tragic loss and crappy thing to happen. Ian was the ultimate radio professional(/anorak) and we spent a great number of post-TechCon's talking late 80s Radio 1, jingles, automation systems and more.

And when you’re a small business send it to the registered company address rather than the designated preferred correspondence address, meaning a walk across town to get it, photograph it in the banking app to pay it in, then destroy it.

Having done a big chunk of a house clearance via eBay this year, I can confirm the site is a hot mess of bugs and weird policies in lots of places when you go slightly off the golden path.

A copy of the Christmas 2025 edition of the Radio Times TV listings magazine, with special artwork from Aardman Animation’s Wallace & Gromit series featuring Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, with an unrelated non-removable Sainsbury’s tracking label stuck across the central text obscuring some of the artwork.

One of the best things about getting the festive Radio Times is the brilliant artwork. So excited when our copy arrived like this from @sainsburys.bsky.social this morning.

The acoustics on Lee Mack's voiceover bits on The 1% Club Rollover sound like they were done in the office upstairs between the shows.

Nope. I’m on Agile and every 6 months or so the system panics that the balance is too high despite them being well aware how volatile the pricing can be. Each reduction is followed a few months later by an increase.

I’ll have 50p on “they asked ChatGPG, it referenced a document that was talking about Christmas light set length to tree ratio, not decorations” please

Depends if they count a single bulb as a “decoration”?

I like it. Was curious because I find some apps are bizarrely aggressive in getting you back when you don’t use it after the initial sign up. Yours seemed like a reasonable balance.

Did you come up with that schedule or is it borrowed from somewhere?

This 25-Year-Old iMac is Faster Than My Gaming PC
This 25-Year-Old iMac is Faster Than My Gaming PC I dragged this iMac G3, kicking and screaming, 25 years into the present by swapping its innards for a brand new Mac Mini M4. The iMac G3 from 2001 is my favourite-looking computer of all time, but it's completely unusable these days because of its age.

So I tore out its insides (leaving the CRT screen intact of course) and replaced them with a brand new Mac Mini M4.
