An Update on Brio 0.6.0, and offline MCDF Support First, I would like to officially and clearly confirm that I am working to add offline MCDF support to Brio. This work is superseding all other Brio work at the moment. For clearly Mare, the plugin has been added to the banned list for Dalamud as a plugin, this means as of now you will be unable to use MCDFs in Brio as the Mare plugin will no longer load in Dalamud. So, until Brio adds offline MCDF support, MCDF loading will not work. I have also seen a lot of teams wish to start their own version of Mare, And however those may end up, my intent and purpose here is to provide a common interface for other devs/tools to be empowered to utilize the MCDF system if they so wish in order to give the player base one unified system. The original plan for 0.6.0 was to release next week. However, I have had a very difficult week this week; with one of my wonderful cats passing away on Monday and the events surrounding Mare, I don't know when 0.6.0 will come out. So it's going to be a "it's done when it's done", It will still be soon, and it will have offline MCDF support. I ask for your patience and understanding in waiting for the update, that you please be kind and supportive of one another as well as us on the development end in this trying time. In regards to Mare being (willingly) taken down I would like to kindly ask that we do as the announcement says and refrain from speculating about the reasons, specially in public servers or social media. Moreover, please remember fandoms are prone to incite drama for fun. **Be wary and skeptical of any "official" screenshots you might see.** I have already seen at least two and it hasn't even been three hours since the announcement. Also, I know it might be hard, but try not to panic. Whatever the case might be, many developers play this game and newer options and solutions might come up soon enough. Try to take it easy and be careful not to spread misinformation or cause others stress.
