Discord thread with a shot of an Ayn Thor at the opening menu of StS2
I keep looking everywhere, but so far the closest anyone's gotten is to the main menu in GameNative.

They are executing unarmed people in the streets for trying to protect their neighbors with the full support of the federal government.
I don't know all the details there but I don't disagree. Seems like they really want a piece of the Broadway pie
Although I think right now the current proposal from the Halprin Group, the people who would be doing the remodel, is to put a temporary venue in at Zidell Yards, where the baseball stadium is proposed.
It's still very expensive, it's not a great venue for some structural reasons, and most importantly an actual remodel will mean we don't have a Broadway capable venue for years or a weird hybrid thing where we don't have it for most of the year. (that last one is even more expensive)
god damn joe, way to move

Last year I was working a rehearsal for an opera that was part of the TBA Festival that started in front of the Schnitzer, and a few minutes into these slow building vocalizations there were suddenly a bunch of people bombing through. Beautiful chaos, great night.
ME: *reading the bad news website all day* we're doomed. there's no way to come back from this
ME: *11:10 pm two beers three tacos deep watching a 65 year old Black woman in a Sunday dress absolutely rock out to a dad band covering Queen Bitch* america is an idea. and a feeling in the heart.
When I opened the Patreon podcast feed for a second I thought you guys just really failed at this week's Any%
Ooof. Trimet is cutting bus and MAX service starting in November. Losing that ODOT funding really hurt.
Same, weird
I will always remember that the class above me convinced him to watch Trainspotting. He was an all timer.
Every study says phones are terrible in the classroom, and every teacher I talk to says the same. The only concern is will they be able to do it without making it more of a burden and distraction for teachers.
Portland: we need to revitalize the Central City
Also Portland: we must reopen this street to cars
The city's resistance to food trucks, it's main cultural export, in parks is baffling to me. Please let me have a hot dog next to the river
They're also trying to sort out who is actually going be to be running the P5 venues altogether, Metro, the city, or something completely different, so more messiness still to come
Just saw some pics from my cousin who works there who got to go onto the roof today, it seems like an amazing view up there minus the Portland City Grill fumes.
Hilariously unsurprising
I'm always a proponent of the 'shorter games with worse graphics made by people who who are paid more to work less' type of game, but for orgs of this size I worry about the loss of jobs. Hope they're working smarter and not just more profit focused
NEA withdraws its $25K grant in support of Portland Playhouse’s production of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone
I serve on the board of the Portland Playhouse and I’ve expected that we’d get hit eventually. Joe Turner's Come and Gone by the great August Wilson is a wonderful piece of American art, but it’s not a surprise why the government would not see it that way.
i don’t have any particular love for Oregon’s largest private employer, but i don’t think a lot of progressive folks are grokking how the further collapse of Intel would be a devastatingly bad thing for the city/region and state
Same. I have some fond family memories there, but all of them are in spite of the food.
Spoilers in pic! I write notes and info on a legal pad, small achievable goals on sticky notes on my PC, and larger questions and goals on stickies on my monitor. Makes it really easy to find a goal and info for myself when I need, plus I always know what I'm working towards, big picture.
That's in the entrance to that building, not that corner spot, I believe.
whether they’re retiring or not this should be the last term for each of them
A real loss to see them close but some pretty surprising info from FOMO Chicken, seems like it's been dysfunctional for a while
what the FUCK
This was my first year not qualifying and I've been checking that box long enough that it hit me harder than any birthday has.
Ahh I'd missed the why behind the tightness, makes sense.
God, not looking forward to that part of downtown being even less busy during the day. I know the city with the new council is pretty tight on space, is there a world the city could use it? Not that they have money to burn.
