Is it good when your agency has an internal memo titled "General Malfeasance by USAID and its Office of Acquisition and Assistance; and Non-Compliance with Laws, Court Orders, and USAID Regulations and Polices since January 24, 2025"

Yes, but I believe their various heavy military trucks and MRAPs are their primary money maker
All while advertised as a "homegrown" "built from scratch" "fully Israeli" system.
Listen, most arms manufacturing is like this. Like, 90% of it. I just don't want the US to be involved in Israeli projects and I don't like that they've convinced people they're actually doing all of this themselves!
As it turns out, nope, this is yet another "final assembly in Israel" system.
An Oshkosh USA truck married to a Rheinmetall Germany cannon and turret system.
Testing done in Nevada and Germany, final rollout in Israel.
An ad, I guess, for a "Israeli" Ro'em 155mm howitzer
I got this as a targeted ad, so I decided to look into it. Is this new Israeli artillery system actually Israeli? The Merkava isn't, the Arrow 3 isn't, and the Iron Dome isn't, so surely this howitzer is actually Israeli?
Let's look under the hood...
why aren't you extremely mad and talking exclusively about an unrelated event that happened over 25 years ago?
I think there's some hope with the 6th gen, at least the J-36 which is so wonderfully strange looking. I don't like how uniform the 5th gen is.
J-10 is ugly af, can't really deny that, but I appreciate that it's ugly in kind of the same way as a lot of 3rd/early 4th gens
Ironically, likely the same system that Iran used in its shootdown of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in January of 2020.
It appears that the F-35 was hit by a missile fired by an Iranian Dezful air defense system, which is a locally manufactured version of the Soviet/Russian Tor M1 system. The Dezful has electro-optical targeting and guidance systems added, along with updated digital systems.
4.5genslop
2-seat Sukhois w/o canards (like Su-30MKK/J-16), are excused from this, they manage to look good somehow
The transition from 3rd generation jets to 4.5/5th generation was the worst thing to ever happen to the aesthetics of airplanes. Mirage F-1C and MiG-23 and F-4D absolutely jetmogg any F-15EX, F-35, Rafale, J-20 trash
Which leads to the Lego videos, the epstein stuff written on the missiles+drones, and so on. Also related to why their internal propaganda often sucks so bad
Somehow missed when you posted this the first time but somebody's gotta talk about how pro-IRI young people are probably the most Gharbzadeh Iranians there are, and are extremely clued in to US/Western politics and online discourse in a way diaspora opposition/monarchists absolutely aren't
It was clear Israel was going for The Big One with Iran. Yes, Trump is particularly stupid and malleable, but Biden was also very stupid and malleable. If Israel started the war as it did in June, and Netanyahu begged Biden for help, does anyone seriously believe Biden would say no?
For any questions or comments on this 2nd issue see post 1 "working to get humanitarian aid into Gaza"
Ok I lied I'm a 2 issue voter and the 2nd issue is ending all aid and support and help and arms to Israel. Cut em off day one.
1 year ago today I was terminated by DOGE from USAID where I worked to get humanitarian aid into Gaza. Everyone I knew across almost 10 years of my career across 3 prior jobs became unemployed as well. My entire LinkedIn network suddenly became "open to work"
I'm a one issue voter. Punishment.
Israeli soldier photographed beheading a statue of Jesus with a hammer: IDF immediately posts multiple English-language condemnations and "we will investigate" "this is not who we are" etc
Israeli soldiers videotaped throwing a tied up and blindfolded Palestinian prisoner off a roof: ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Im beginning a campaign to stop people from equating "secular" and "good"
๐ค๐ค๐คโ๏ธ actually upper Egypt is quite rocky and mountainous, just not in the way Iran or Turkey are
Shockingly people misread "culturally irreligious" as "secular" (very much not the case) or even "the government is irreligious or secular" (lol) and "run by ice chewing militarists" as "it's a liberal democracy"
Israel starting a war it cant win against a mountainous country of 80-90 million with a strong tradition of intense nationalism... Get a new bit bro
Israel has been coasting on the high of 1967 for 59 years, just trying to recapture that feeling
One more preemptive strike will heal me... Just one more preemptive strike bro... I swear I'm good after just let me do one more preemptive strike and I promise I'm good dude
Hey that's my emotional support former mayor who had his national ambitions thwarted by an unusually big thunderstorm
But I didn't want to post these predictions because I didn't want to end up being proven wrong because even I doubted for a little while (I will submit my General Hajizadeh posthumous apology form shortly)
By completely ignoring all US and Israeli official statements on Iran's missile program and "doing my own research," I ended up with a more realistic assessment than most mainstream media and defense pundits.
I am not going to say "I told you so" but a lot of people were very confident Iran would run out of Israel-range missiles within a week, and that the June war and TP1+2 had meaningfully impacted their stockpiles
I think any publicly released intel re Irans weapons to be largely useless at face value, but noteworthy that they think 6 weeks of high intensity airstrikes costing 10s of billions in our best munitions knocked out <30% of Iran's missiles (must account for 100s launched) and ~40% of their launchers
