I need a fabric store! Walmart is extremely limited. Michael’s is trying with more yarn and some fabric but it wasn’t really their lane. Specialty quilt stores don’t help in a lot of projects.

A real problem with “absentee landlords” which can be companies that just don’t care. A small town around here had a building actually fall down, despite warnings from a local ( uninvolved) engineer. Empty damaged buildings dot the streets. Sigh.

And get private equity out of the businesses that serve me. It was private equity that killed JoAnn’s, a store that served crafters, knitters, and quilters. And it matters! Rite Aid went too, and now new equity ownership is messing with the folks who work at Walgreens. Big issue for small towns.

I cannot even explain how angry this grift makes me. I am generally a placid person but really, this is so terrible. 😣

We are done with beef and pork products. I minimize dairy to regular coffee. Oat milk cappuccinos rock. We all need to do what we can. But why do restaurants try to put bacon in everything??? Really?
