I’m really going for candy colored and bright! Part of my story is inspired by the TV show Pushing Daisies, so sort of like their dresses, but maybe with more of a SoCal vibe because the soundtrack to this book is all early oughts pop-punk like Yellowcard and The Ataris.

I have some really horrible dietary restrictions which mean I haven’t been able to eat in a restaurant in 8 years. I love to write food scenes so I can live vicariously through my characters. Ah, the mouth feel of diner waffles with the saltiest of bacon 🤤🤤

I’m looking forward to deadlines, to be honest! But for now I know when I’m done when I feel like I’ve put in the work and my CPs agree!
