B.C. has changed its clocks for possibly the last time, but there is still controversy over the switch to permanent daylight saving time. Years ago @mikeduncan.bsky.social told me "you can rewrite shit but you can't rewrite nothing" and it's made every draft easier since.

Everything the Ellison family could own if Paramount buys Warner Bros:

Paramount+
CBS
CNN
Showtime
HBO
Warner Bros
TNT
TBS
MTV
DC Studios
Nickelodeon
Comedy Central
Cartoon Network
And more...

This is a rotten deal that the Trump regime has rubber stamped.

State AGs must step in and block it.

could it be said he's a prop? (calling him a "comic" is... a stretch. I have yet to hear anything he has to say that is actually funny!)

Do not deadname people. Heck, if I had my druthers I wouldn't talk about the person being discussed at all. They're entitled and arrogant.

Social media companies, though... #Twitter

No, this is not hypocritical.

Just because Caitlyn Jenner is an objectively horrible person doesn’t mean it’s okay to deadname her. Please don’t.

BFF and I were flying home from Columbus, OH after a weekend (we went for the NHL game), and it was like 5am in the morning. The TSA agent told me to smile. I told him it was early and I was tired. He told me that was not an excuse. I walked away... fuming. UGH. #WomenDontOweYouANYTHING

sorry to hear about you being unemployed tho! I am currently in the same situation (as is BFF) so we all know it sucks. hopefully you will find work soon. I've been unemployed since October and applying to whatever I have skills for.

Yeah. I guess Iowa (where I am) is a little better. IowaWorks (what ours is called) makes you jump through hoops, you have to log in and register at least 4 applications a week, and also do some re-employment activities (seminars, etc), and even then no guarantees. BFF has gotten nothing both times.

dare I ask what happened THIS time?

thank you for being delighted that it exists. I know there are some authors who despise fanfics of their work.

Or they just don't care about whether or not they give people eye-strain. (That's my opinion on it anyway)

5 days ago 1 0 0 0

oh totally understandable. I remember you mentioning a long ways back (decade or more) that not reading fanfic on your works was the easiest way to avoid legal difficulties later on. I forget if it was one of the test podcasts you made. (I enjoyed them so I occasionally listen again)

Within the last 6 months, I wrote (and posted to AO3) a crossover story involving Young Wizards, The Untamed (C-Drama), and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I also tagged it #NotYouDD since I remember that was how to get you to NOT read it? Or is there a different way these days?

LOL. I don't think Japan is the only Asian culture like this. Ok, mind, Taiwan is Japan-influenced, but even so... I think I vaguely recall this sort of thing there too. @kyburg.bsky.social
