A small pamphlet-sized book has a picture of a smiling desktop printer. The title reads: "The Printer That Simply Worked and other Fairy Tales"

Cold take, but we really need to get rid of numbered scores at the end of game reviews so people will be forced to read the actual review text for once.
Hahaha! Now soundly proven by the truth master himself!
I never realized Sally has unique dialogue here depending on whether Jack is in the party or not!
I'm confident that this game will never stop teaching me things. 👑💙
[1/7] Big projects don’t have to happen all at once to make a big difference. 🛠️✨
Particularly since, as far as I'm aware, D23 Expo Japan is no longer a regular thing the way it was before.
Also, yeah, now that you mentioned it, I forgot, the first gameplay demonstration for KHIII was at D23 Expo Japan 2013, too.
A note for the long forgotten and those from the beforetimes (read: Before KHIII's release) -
Toy Box was first shown off at D23 Expo in 2017.
Monstropolis and the theme song "Don't Think Twice" were first shown off at D23 Expo Japan in February 2018.
LOOK! If you don't like getting your hopes up, you're smart. You're the smartest little cherub in the room and you can be smug forever.
Anyway, now that that's been addressed, here are some INTERESTING THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.
The Kingdom Hearts kujis always coincide with releases or updates.
Here we go again.
Writing on the wall.
I saw this and thought of your 100% perfect run, don't know if you'd known about this before because I sure didn't!

it's my quiet belief that though anger, cynicism, and nihilism may be a short-form way of facing the world
they're also fundamentally the emotionally easy route to take, and are more about making you feel superior to those around you, than about making any kind of meaningful or kindred difference

A reminder that there are at least three known #KingdomHearts games (all non-canon) that only work in Flash and should otherwise cease to exist were it not for people who have tried to save games like them.
This is nuts, including MSG’s legal threats against Wired. When I wrote about a fan banned by MSG surveillance, flaks tried to circumvent The Verge’s on-background policy. When I noted they declined to speak on the record, they sent me some…. truly wild emails.

It has been a hot minute since I posted anything on my Patreon, but I am back today with some updates on various projects and the state of the Patreon. Give it a read if you are so inclined. www.patreon.com/posts/155868...
The version of "Dearly Beloved" that is featured in the end credits for #KingdomHearts #UnionX is one of my favorite versions of all time.

This looks like Sora is scared to eat the apples Remy is trying to force him to eat lol
I chatted about what it's like to write TWO original Musical numbers about video games for GameGrooves new project! If you're curious how we went from a cute Piano+voice doodle to a 25+ person ensemble in a few months.. definitely check it out, or my album making panel this week at VGMCon!
I didn't make this reddit thread, but I commented with my laundry list of issues, if anyone's having those same problems.
Anyone else having issues with the Microsoft apps on android in the last 2-3 days? Cuz I'm having a whole laundry list of them.

Young adult happiness is falling. Percent of young people who are pretty or very happy has dropped from 88% to 76% over the last 15 years after having held fairly steady between 1980 and 2010
My hottest “I have no data to back this up” take is that phones aren’t making young people less happy. What’s making them less happy is living in a world where everyone is having their reality defined by recommendation algorithms that can only care about whether something keeps you watching.
Anyways, this has been Kingdom Hearts Existential Crisis/Missing-Link Rant Hour with KSM.
Tune in next time, when I tackle some other Kingdom Hearts topic I have feelings about that no one asked me to rant about!
So, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the live service game bubble will burst and we'll go back to traditional gaming experiences like Kingdom Hearts. I hope so. But in the meantime, I worry that we won't, and so I want every Kingdom Hearts experience we can get while we still can. And KHML was one of those.
There isn't even a guarantee that a live service game would be successful, as evidenced by all the live service games that just launched in the last two years and ARE ALREADY DEAD.
I mean, for heaven's sake, Disney wanted recently to build an online immersive multi-IP Disney live service. They have the makings of that world in Kingdom Hearts, but what did they do? THEY WENT TO FORTNITE.
I see a possible scenario where Disney just says, "You know what, Nomura, we're good, we don't need a new Kingdom Hearts." And that'll be it.
Because it's not a popular game, the popular and profitable games are all live services, and so that's what they want to build next.
Those games make tons of money. They also keep people regularly engaged. That means players don't even consider playing a Kingdom Hearts because there's already something new in the latest season of Fortnite.
And I worry that means making a Kingdom Hearts will eventually not be worth it.
I just, I feel a lot of #KingdomHearts fans do not realize the cultural gaming shift they're living through. People just don't seem to play games like Kingdom Hearts anymore. They primarily play live service games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Marvel Rivals.
