Using AI art with the excuse of "I'm just a small creator trying to make things happen" is an admission of either inability, incompetence, or ignorance.

We found 100 more sets of the Vagabond Dice and, when this is out, we don't plan on making more until global tensions cool off (lots of countries consider them gambling tools and it gets expensive to import/export). Come get them while they last!

The Coachella performance may have made me a fan. Sabrina Carpenter's "Tears" slaps so hard and I had no idea she was this goddamn funny.

Sabrina Carpenter’s performance at Coachella is absolutely insane. I’ve never seen live production that complex pulled off so perfectly. These engineers have got to be some of the best in the world.
Love your pit
I love that pit. Also, nice terrain.
Haven’t built terrain in years, and I wanted to do something sick for the demos of Caustic Cave of Quasmoidon. This is area 4, where the party is sidling over a pit of acid, setting them up for an ambush of kobolds
Yeah that's the thing; moderation isn't about punishing bad behavior, it's about cultivating a community. I don't understand what kind of community they can hope to build with these rules. Like... just people telling campaign diary stories and self-indulgent game design talk? Sounds insufferable
They're going to moderate that subreddit to death by scaring everyone away from posting. There's also plenty of cases where TTRPG subreddit mods had a financial interest in the popularity of a post (looking at you /r/unearthedarcana), so I just stopped screwing with the "main RPG subs".
The 3rd Print Wave of the Vagabond Core Rulebook will be focused on utility, addressing some potentially confusing wording, a few new passes at some art, and including something the Basic Hero's Handbook was praised for... you will be able to use the Core Rulebook as the dice!
Oh man... Vagabond is crawling back up the Most Popular banner on DriveThruRPG!!! Back in the Top 20, gunning for the new Daggerheart release >:)
Went to Barnes & Noble, got a coffee, and apparently I sat down next to a meeting of flat earthers discussing the Artemis II launch. Day made
One of the best design decisions I ever made for Vagabond was breaking down Spells and Magic Items into their fundamental parts, and basing the whole magic system off of what shook out. Now, not only is the system super easy to homebrew for, but it made the Runekeeper Class happen in like 2 hours.
“You all discover a spell scroll of diarrhea.”
“The monster resides in the radiant waters of Lake Diarrhea, and is fiercely territorial over its domain.”
“Goblin Princess Diarrhea bequests the party for their assistance.”
Write diarrhea in your next published adventure.
The employees that have cared and have started to make a change get bullied out by dipshits who wanted to “work in a music store and be a chill cool guy” but are actually just lazy delusional losers who aren’t worth care for their opinion. This is just the reality of this company.
They also have to kill the culture of “It’s cool to not give a shit” that is pervasive with their employees. Try calling any Guitar Center right now to see how long you’re waiting on the phone. They literally make a game out of ignoring your call.
It’s legitimately a business that got too comfortable being an institution in the industry, and players are pretty firmly in the “fuck Guitar Center” court. A student of mine went in for a truss rod adjustment there 2 months ago and came out with the low E literally laying flat on the fretboard.
Guitar Center declared Ch. 11 in 2020, still uses a text-based check out software, most stores haven’t updated their card readers to Tap to pay, and they’re trying to push customers to use a proprietary app in store for recommendations because they’re trying to fire floor staff.
You all want to watch a company kill itself? Guitar Center’s CEO is an absolute moron for trying to create an in house competitor to established brands selling to them at like 40% MSRP. I give them 5 years if this goes through. It’ll take 1 for Fender/Gibson to reneg.

black and white dungeon map depicting a dungeon with flooded rooms, mud pits, boiling lakes, many secret features, all inside a volcano.
The Ghost Crest Peak map I did for @indestructoboy.bsky.social is now uploaded on my Patreon for personal use.

New arrival!
@indestructoboy.bsky.social 's The Rook and The Crook, for which I did the cartography. Drawing isometric interlaced towers was quite the challenge and now that I see it printed with this great layout, I think it was really worth the effort!
Sabre just got Vagabond, by @indestructoboy.bsky.social, in stock. Super excited to be carrying this game. www.sabregamesandcards.com/product-page... #ttrpg #dnd #osr #indiegames

I was obsessed with the idea of recreating the feeling of wonder and discovery with RPG exploration mechanics, but I feel like group play doesn’t facilitate it like solo play does. I can go randomly check out that mine without consulting a party, the table might just hate the idea. Idk
Someone in the Discord got it, the Slip is inspired by Door from Neverwhere and Ciri from Witcher. “Thinks with portals” the class
New Class idea for Vagabond that I haven’t seen in another game, and I’m thinking it needs to be a dedicated setting thing. I’ll just drop the name and reveal what it is when someone gets close to the idea: Slip.
