Frightening concept but glad you're okay with it

I "finished" Salt and Sanctuary this morning. In that I got to the final boss and decided it was too much effort to do the final bit. Still calling it beaten, its close enough.

Other than that, been watching a lot of anime and trying to read a bit here and there.

I kinda like TiaLudomon's design though because it makes no sense whatsoever for its body proportions. Stretched out to be more humanoid, it'd be cool. Instead it's this dumpy little thing trying too hard to be badass and I love it for that.

Ludomon only makes sense as the former, that despite everything and the horrific things we see in backstory, part of Granit still wants to live badly enough to create a monster for that specific purpose of survival at all costs.

The show can't decide if digimon are formed from a specific desire / drive or are like, the parts of yourself you suppress showing others. Gekkomon only makes sense as the latter, because everything it does is counter to the image Tomoro wants to project. Despite the show treating them as similar.

I was hoping to be immediately nostalgia-blasted into being happier but instead I just got to play a good videogame, damn. Started Salt and Sanctuary which I initially disliked a lot but I've gotten three bosses in or so and it's alright, intend to beat it or get as close as I can without setting off my bullshit-meter. Reading the first novel of Sentenced to Be A Hero and some other stuff.

Also finished watching a mediocre super sentai but that barely seemed worth mentioning.
Hoping this next week is better.

Finished watching Gozyuger with friends earlier this week. For as much of an uneven mess as that show was, the suit designs are great, the fights are dynamic, and it has best boi Fire Candle so I can't entirely dislike it.

Still going to go for the e-reader as soon as I can.

Played a bit of Legends Arceus, made some progress. Started Valkyria Chronicles 1 on steam. Finished reading Murderbot Diaries #7, System Collapse, and started some other stuff.

Wanted to get a nicer e-reader while it was still on sale but circumstances did not allow it.

Finished reading the third book of Secrets of the Silent Witch. Still likely to enjoy the remaining books but not going to rush straight to them. Finished watching Sentenced to Be A Hero. Enjoyed this anime a lot. Plan to read the books as soon as I'm able. Finished watching Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers. Didn't like this nearly as much. It was okay, nothing more. Still down to see future episodes, but not expecting much from them. I want to see if I'd like the original show from the 80s more.

I've succeeded a bit in reading more. Hoping to keep it up.

Dunno if I should focus on different interests for a while or just look through my library for something else that speaks me to more.

None of the games I've tried the past few weeks feel like the right one to focus my gaming time (as opposed to my everything else time) on. Monster Hunter Stories 3 comes closest, but my disinterest in the story isn't helping that one.

Wanted to try the 9 games thingy. Most of these individual games can be treated as placeholders for [Entire / Most Of Relevant Series], but still. #blutoid

Not much to talk about other than what media I experienced. -Finished reading the first novel of Secrets of the Silent Witch because I liked the anime. I have the other six currently available volumes and look forward to reading them. -Nearly done reading the first Paranormasight game, Mysteries of Honjo, and should be done before the weekend is over if not today. Looking forward to playing the sequel, which I already bought. -Approximaterly 8 hours into Soul Hackers 2 and having a good time. I understand and agree with the controversy around the DLC demons, so I didn't buy them, but other than that it's fun. I imagine my take on the game would be less forgiving if I played it before they added a run toggle though, and the side dungeons for your party members kinda suck from a visual standpoint. -Started playing Dragon Quest 7 on 3DS and decided after the first plot island I like it but not enough to make it a part of my main game rotation yet.  -Started making backup copies of my blu-ray sets and tried to learn how to compress the resulting video copies, to mixed results. It's rather straightforward when one of the things encoded on the disc is one long video with all the content, when the content is separated into multiple smaller videos with no human-readable labels it is significantly trickier. So far I've backed up Kamen Rider Ryuki and Kamen Rider Black and compressed them. Aura Battle Dunbine has been backed up but not compressed yet, because it's the offender I'm talking about in regard to not splicing the videos together anywhere on the disc.  Be nice if I knew how to get the raw subtitle files and have softsubs rather than hardsubs in the copies, but I ultimately don't care much.

Started playing Soul Hackers 2. I like it so far.
Slowed down on Nioh 3. Like it, just did too much too fast.
