Why are Canadian media reporting on Canada Post as if they've all been given a script to follow? Journalists are interfering with the union's contract ratification vote by parroting Canada Post management's talking points and telling Canadians that it isn't viable.

Here's a nice sample of some of what happened in Hamilton in 2015 the last time Canada Post tried to take away door to door. Residents took matters into their own hands, camping out to prevent installation of boxes. The city of Hamilton sued Canada Post after presentations by CUPW Hamilton.
The answer is no, you do not. Even taking cabs regularly can be cheaper than having your own car.

Look at Purolator's profits over that time. Despite being over 90% owned by Can Post and poaching profitable parcel routes from CP, leaving the unprofitable ones, not one cent of their billions in profit over that time counts on CP's books.

Canada Post delivers to 17.6 million addresses every day (business and residential). At 260 work days per year, that is 4.57 billion deliveries each year. Over eight years, that is 36 billion mail deliveries in 8 years.
Canada post delivered mail 36 billion times and it only cost $6.1 billion.
Give me all of their ad dollars.
