RVW dedicated one of his compositions to the village of his birth – the tune to the hymn ‘Come down, O love divine’ is named ‘Down Ampney’; and one of his compositions titled ‘Linden Lea’ has been used as a road name in the village, as a mark of respect.

The Twelfth Day of Christmas is the Feast of the Epiphany, which principally commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child.
We purchased and rehomed this Victorian depiction of the Epiphany over a decade ago using funds from the Cottam Will Trust.

Yes, it is quite subjective. I generally don't like to have more than four books (or maybe five if I'm reading a volume of poetry as well) on the go at once, because I can feel like I'm not making enough progress with them all. Anyway, happy reading.
What would you say is an acceptable number of books to be reading at the same time? Asking for a friend.

Screen capture of Spotify Wrapped 2024: September was your Victorian Polyphony Choral season. You were all about artists like Ralph Vaughan Williams, William Byrd and Tomás Luis de Victoria.
I don't know what that means, but if it's a thing, I'm definitely into it. #Spotify #SpotifyWrapped
Screen capture of Spotify Wrapped 2024: August was your Royalcore Harpsichord Baroque phase. You were really into artists like Johann Sebastian Bach, Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre and Johann Friedrich Fasch.
That's quite niche, even for me. #Spotify #SpotifyWrapped
Well, that's not much of a surprise. #Bach #Spotify #SpotifyWrapped
