Yeah so about that

This game is absolutely perfect
Just ridiculous
Minnesota is just suffocating Denver here
The hockey was good
It was always what I imagined when building forts as a kid
Totally fair!
I don't know if I've ever met another person IRL who read The Three Investigators, but "juvenile LA noir in old Hollywood" was, in retrospect, formative
One of my favorite moments from writing for Awful Announcing: when I wrote a post making fun of James Dolan's music and a PR flack sent an embarrassed email asking if I could change one line about one small immaterial detail while not mentioning how I called him a total hack throughout
I am, I can't stress this enough, so happy about this
Trae doesn't deserve this cred tbh
I tend to believe his version of that, to be honest, given everything else he's put on the record
I enjoy both, for different reasons! It's just hilarious to me, especially as they basically share a talent pool for their marquee competition shows, now including Bobby's current gf, even. I love a good unnecessary and mild feud.
They'd love the Pacers and hate Hunter Fieri
I love that Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri have a cold war-style division on Food Network
I wonder what far-right European factions would pay for me to post propaganda to my locked 2900-follower twitter account. Feels like I should be able to get 400, 500k
So many! (Floptastic Knicks PG)
There's a reason Jalen Brunson couldn't play FIBA ball.
One of the lower-level sad things about Haliburton's injury was how it robbed guys like Tony Bradley from being lifelong role player heroes in Indiana as part of a title run. He had some huge moments.
Also the Hawks swapping Trae for McCollum made them 500% more likable and fun to watch (and, crucially, a much better team)
I just couldn't this year. Watched a few fun national Nuggets endings, but other than that it's been too painful. (Will definitely have the lottery on though.)
The Knicks are going to get eliminated at some point this spring and it will be my favorite moment of this entire NBA season, of which I've watched like 40 minutes
There was a goose on the field at Wrigley, they played on
Curt Schilling painted that sock
James Garner and local Indiana sportswriters, found via @LiterateIndy on X
Keep thinking about this pic of James Garner in the early '60s at a racetrack in Anderson, Indiana, and how the gap between "movie star" and "regular person" was so much bigger back then.
I just don't want or need Joey Galloway in my life anymore
I don't mind the ranking shows but I'd prefer they were, you know, good
The NBA leaning into the '90s color schemes is always a win.
One of my least favorite Cubs, tbh. Terrible for two seasons, finally good in year 3, only to get traded for Nick Madrigal. Awesome stuff all around.
