This panel vexes me immensely. How it was made was a one-off winging-it that resulted in one of my favorites and I have no idea how it was made that makes it so distinct

Started including a powdered gold flake for more textũre per textũre

All I can remember exactly is that pearlescents and fluorescents were used and oversprayed in other to “push” and give visual textũre

To this day, I can’t repeat this exact process and it haunts me. Most others that look similar are attempts to replicate ‘em :’3

Triptych panels were sprayed with two coats of different colored lacquers before drying, allowing them to bleed through and mix. The second project just started with a metallic flake suspended in lac to give at least some texture to the background.
