Our Women’s team experiencing what our Mens Team did to the Cze team yesterday.

Can confirm this way around hurts, a lot…

Ahead til the bitter end, arguably the stronger team for vast majority of the game.
US ties it up, & wins in OT.

SO much to be proud of for sure-but this will hurt too.

Our ladies doing literally everythingggg I hoped they could so far…. Holding my breath now for 18 mins + 25 seconds more…

Ok. Welp, thank goodness for Nick Suzuki for keeping us in the running (in the final mins 😅).
Binnington for keeping the hope alive, & denying a couple of serious game winning shots.

And then Mitch Marner for holding his nerve, in OT, & finding a way into the net with a QF game winning goal 😭🙌🏼

I feel this! Tears on this end for Suzuki’s goal, & then more tears for Mitch’s game winner! 🥹😭😅🙌🏼

And thank goodness for Nick Suzuki, who became our wee miracle in the final mins of the 3rd to tie it up!!!

💯! What we just lived was wayyy too much 😅

This would be the only thing to redeem the insane stress our QF just was…..

I mean thank gawd for him … he & Mitchie, (& B made some massive saves in the very end too)…. But tbh that was entirely wayyyyy too stressful for me… I don’t think I’ve ever been this stressed in a game.

But when they played Cze earlier tbth they did worry me…

That was easily the most stressful game I have ever watched… I have loved Sid since day 1, so 1st him being hit/ injured 😭, then us being hind til the final mins of the 3rd?!! (And arguably Cze playing unbelievably well- (their key players + their goalie)…. Good lawd…. I am not ok…. lol how are you?

And of course we know Novak is still an exceptional player & may have finally gotten Jannik- but I wanted to know if anything else on Janniks side was playing in

I didn’t get to see Janniks last couple of matches leading up to this SF?
We know Novak would have been in best form because poor Musetti had to retire from his injury in their QF…

But was there anything we know of leading up to this that had Jannik less then top form? Or was he 100% ?
