ARK is an LGBTQIA+ organisation based in Oradea, Romania. Founded in 2023, ARK is the first local organisation dedicated to advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and freedoms through community work, social initiatives, art and education.

We express solidarity with our Maltese Member MGRM who protested the detainment of their community member Angoua Abdu today as the SOGIESC Conference opened amidst Pride Week in Malta.

We condemn this situation and join our Member MGRM in calling for Abdu’s safety, dignity, and release.
