I saw that somewhere that there’s a small number of countries that have added a sub-title to it. I might have to add that info to the site too. It’s really unusual though. I wonder I if it’s because Backrooms isn’t just the A24 movie.
A huge Backrooms banner has been spotted at the front of an AMC Cinema in the US.
The banner looks to be at least the size of 4 standard movie posters. Love seeing this kind of promotion for the movie!

I just came across a game that is using the same name as my website project. I’m not sure how I feel about this.

Yeah most people I interact with are Gen Z or late millennial. Hoping with it being in cinemas some my age will show interest. My brother (early 40s) loves horror and is looking forward to it as it’s bringing something new. I think that’s why it might just be as you say the horror movie of the year.
There is that saying about you’re as old as you feel. So technically you might feel old especially if other fans are younger than you.
I really feel old in this fandom though. Even more so when my previous main fandom was Pokémon which is aimed at kids yet had more people my age than Backrooms. 😅

The ARG for the Backrooms movie has begun! This commercial was seen on Pluto TV in the US last night. When calling the phone number on the ad, you can hear beeps which some have speculated is a fax machine.

I wish I had enough money to buy like 1000 Backrooms posters and just use it as a wallpaper around my whole apartment.
I’m hoping they actually release real wallpaper once the movie releases. A24 is known for doing some unique collabs so there’s a chance.
I’m in my late 40s. But there’s a guy who regularly writes on the wikis who is in his 70s.
Alternate versions of the posters have been posted by @markduplass on his Twitter account. These versions have the more traditional Backrooms colouring reminiscent of the original Backrooms image, while the versions posted by A24 have the colouring of The Complex in Kane Pixels Backrooms series.
A24 has dropped two new poster images ahead of an offical trailer that will be released tomorrow.
Posting on their social media accounts, the two images were accompanied by the text “If you’re not careful… Backrooms trailer tomorrow”.
