In addition to increasing in-bike workouts significantly, I finally am incorporating functional strength workouts just recently. Still working on making it a 2-3x/week habit.

At that point, I'll discuss with my doctor how to continue to manage my diabetes (T2) with Ozempic while experimenting with lower dosages though I doubt I will ever be able to live without its assistance.

I'm able to make better choices much more regularly. I still indulge. But only occasionally and never to excess. I'm close to my goal weight of 200 pounds.

I'm down 55 pounds since May 2025. My weight had skyrocketed to 270 despite conscientious eating and an increased training regimen. But, I was craving and consuming a shitload of junk food to silence the Food Noise. Ozempic quoted the voices.

I found myself on the top step Sunday at the Race No. 2 of the Perezluha Coaching TT Series. It's a monthly 8-mile race February through November. I've returned to competition this year after several off, and a health scare last May.

Saw $4/gal during my commute yesterday. I'm guessing the release of strategic reserves hasn't had a significant impact....and my commute is too long to ride; I can WFH most days but I have people on vacation and want to be in office to cover for them.

Wealthy nations agree to record release of emergency oil reserves in a bid to calm surging prices The International Energy Agency has agreed to release the largest volume of emergency oil reserves in its history, in a bid to counter the effects on energy markets of the war in the Middle East.

We'll see if this has any impact.

This was at Sam's Club this morning and it's super unleaded not regular. Roughly ¾ tank. Sam's averages 25-30 cents less than nearby gas stations. Regular here was $3.24 today. I saw as high as 3.79 during my commute this morning.

It's getting ridiculous.

I think we're getting close to $4/gal in FL before things start improving.

Looks like a perfectly sized rain shelter. 🤣
