seems to have been the case that several years were spent idea guying. we like the $1 per hour of fun formula and we can probably eke enough time out of this to make it worth it, so it's no big deal. and you're right about the creative thing. we're getting into drawing because of it.

things start repeating themselves pretty quickly. a couple of hours in and you've seen most of what it's got to show you. a dedicated player can get everything that isn't locked behind daily RNG within a week. there doesn't seem to be any easy way to create drama. it is what it is

tomodachi life doesn't feel like a game with 9 years of development time. i'm assuming this means the dev team had a lot of fun working on it and i only heard of it a couple of months ago, so it's not a big deal.
