The acrylic being so cheap worked out for me because it was so thin it worked like glazing, which I do in watercolor. You just have to figure out how the paint wants to act :)

Also let my deer spirit painting be a sound lesson for those who think they need the “right tools” before making art: this was done with a large worn flat brush, a beaten to hell small brush, and the absolute cheapest acrylic paint I’ve ever used. You can do it!
