whenever I find myself tempted to vent here about a frustration with the industry, or my fears about the future of art and creativity in this country, I find this post and repost it instead

I agree 100% with Maris here, I don’t feel a personal connection to many imprints but I really believed in what Sean and his team were doing at MCD and this feels like a repudiation of a lot of the parts of publishing I care about

Essays — March Sadness 90s Edition

I'm really digging @abigailoswald.bsky.social's interactive @marchxness.bsky.social essay on the litany of PJ’s "Wishlist" & the emotional terrain of wishes: "In wishing, we recognize the flimsiness of the present. In art we do this, too."

25 prints of The King of Monsters are now available for pre-order in the shop! (If those 25 sell out, I'll bump that up, otherwise, when you're leading your guests through a tour of your art collection, pipe in hand, you can tell them it's *limited edition*.)

Jennifer Coolidge has become something of a patron saint for me amid all the recent horrors, so this month I wrote about AUSTENLAND for @brightwalldarkroom.com: an underseen comedy gem that deserves cult classic status ❤️
