Big fat L coming from the EFF in South Africa today. How will you win if you can't recognize who the fox is? Propping up a colonial chauvenist (an obvious one at that) is a bad image for a decolonial party. youtu.be/4-pXLk0evvI?...

It's wild how these colonial cheerleaders try to fool working people. Only an imbecile would find your substandard conceptions plausible.

Politsturn is the lamest book club I've ever seen. I'd rather join the Austen Red Guards than hang out with these losers.

Māori MPs briefly suspended the Aotearoa parliament’s attempts to reinterpret their founding treaty in the most bad ass use of the Haka I’ve ever seen.

Aotearoa (New Zealand) is rising... Behold the powerful haka given today and the reverberation displayed amongst the first nations. All structures of oppression will fall when the people are united.

From Palestine to the Philippines, end the US war machine. The people, united, will never be defeated.

Also, let us hold steadfast that Marxism is the movement for real liberation and has no room for colonial thought or structures. No liberation can be had as long as we hold higher the struggle of Europeans over the rest of the world.

Palestine has brought us back to a second international moment. Where real revolutionaries and liberation movements come head to head against the nationalism of Europe. Let us not give the SPD the opportunity to sick the freikorps on us again.

All the social-chauvinists are now 'Marxists' (don't laugh!). - Lenin

Be prepared for liberals to invade our spaces posing as revolutionaries. But, do not fret as their true intentions are easily discerned by simple questions about democracy and liberation.

So Trump was elected... time to get back to work. It's time to get back to work regardless of what would have been elected.

Leave the chauvinist parties behind! Dissolve them and form parties committed to a decolonial project!

Here in the settler-colonies 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇮🇱🇲🇽🇿🇦🇦🇺 the "left" and their orgs (CPUSA, PSL, CPC, SACP, CPA, etc.) have colonialist, anti-Indigenous lines on the national/colonial question. They either want a 2-state solution or to completely assimilate Natives into colonial society, a proletarianized colonialism.

More perfect union tweeting a video of the press conference Connecticut lawmakers passed a bill to provide workers with unemployment benefits when they strike.

But Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont says he'll veto it because it's "too cute by half."

"It's so damn vague, I don't really know what's in it. But I'm not supportive."

Life will return and we will shine again

Perhaps it was easy during the initial revoltion, but then the fight really begins. The consolidation of the dictatorship of the proletariat begins its biggest battle. One we haven't overcome yet, but we will!!!

I'll push back some on these differences going away after revolution. This was the key insight (IMO) of the Chinese revolution and the failure of the Russian. That class struggle continues under socialism. These line struggles might not be as easy as we imagine.

I agree (mostly lol). Ironically, in the video you posted earlier, the Trots had a good point. The Bolsheviks were quite a fringe group at the start, but when the rubber hit the road, the masses flocked to what was clearly the correct position. I assume it's likely that will happen again. 🤞

We could say there have been three historical world reclvolutions: the Paris Commune, the USSR, and China. All have "failed," in a sense, to solidify revolution, but each building off the other and correcting errors along the way. Trots don't engage in this scientific method of correcting errors.

I mean failures as in the missteps of scientific socialism or problems not yet solved. Like any science, there are stumbling blocks that need to be addressed. This isn't me dismissing the science at all. Merely, recognizing there are obstacles that we still need to overcome.

1 year ago 1 0 2 0

I find Trots to be almost cartoonish in their understanding of historical materialism and revolution. You can't have a serious conversation with them. They are incapable of engaging with failures of scientific socialism and, because of that, need not be engaged with other than through polemics.

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Their orthodoxy is of no surprise, since their ideological head is guilty of the same failures, and they simply continue his failures devoid of a pursuit of reality and, more importantly, a real victory.

It's the reason when I see a ham and sic I immediately "press x to doubt." I've had a number of perplexing arguments only to find out in the end that their eclectic positions are Trotskyist hallucinations developed out of a deep dogmatism and Eurocentrism.
