Off topic I know but I recently reread the sculptor and couldn’t help thinking of David’s powers being a critique on A.i. art even if it wasn’t the intent.

Agree 100 percent. Those things are way more potent than they need to be (I listen to many experts on sleep and they seem to all say something similar)
