A disappointing result for Tottenham against Brighton but fair play Arsenal have lifted my spirits a bit today.

Legal advisers help migrants pose as gay to get asylum, undercover BBC investigation finds The BBC exposes a shadow industry charging migrants thousands of pounds to help them cheat the asylum system.

Disgusting reporting by BBC using a tiny number of cases to suggest widespread abuse of a system which routinely denies LGBTQIA+ individuals asylum and forces them back into environments of persecution. This article massively distorts the reality of the situation. 1/

How bad analytics built a Tottenham team that might get relegated Tottenham are really bad and looking at the way this team has been constructed, one thing clearly stands out: This team is really bad at passing the ball, and that may explain their present malaise.

I wrote about how Spurs used new some numbers terribly and ended up with a super-expensive team of players who can't pass: www.espn.com/soccer/story...

I'm heavily invested in my local Irish League club Ards. We've been in the second tier for nearly 10 years and without a home ground for 25. That's hard but it fosters a close-knit solidarity that massive PL clubs just can't replicate. Such a different experience.

On a visceral level it's what the current online "content" hamster wheel could look like next season. It might put me off reading or listening to anything Spurs-related at all. And I've often relied on that as a means of escapism.

Interesting result at the Emirates.

Perhaps (yet again) bullying, cheating and time wasting isn't a sustainable way to win a title.

De Zerbi ‘didn’t mean to take a stance’ over Greenwood. That’s precisely the problem. You should, Roberto In his first interview at Spurs, De Zerbi addressed his public backing of Greenwood in France. His words raised more questions than answers

Well at least Arsenal can focus on the last two remaining competitions...and hopefully bombing out of them as well 😂.

Both this and the last one have been a late-career resurgence I wasn't expecting. I had really gone off them.
