I say this as a queer kid growing up in the 90s where if I saw representation at all, they came to a violent end.

Seeing queer or trans representation on TV or film won’t make your kid queer or trans. However, if your kid is already queer or trans, not seeing themselves reflected anywhere will make for a very isolating and lonely youth.
