It's an issue I have with all my favorite RPGs - so many choices (race, class, faction, etc sort of choices) makes me lock up & freeze

Or go into a constant create-play a bit-create again loop

So I've been playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard for this last week & I've been stuck in a character creation loop this entire time. I've not made it farther than the Nadas Dirthalen but I've taken that same trip with like 80+ slightly different multiversal variants of Rook.

So I just had to block my first picklefart here & OF COURSE it was because they saw a discussion about enjoying something & felt compelled to monologue why it sucked.

Hey buckaroo, I've already played these games. Stopped BG3 for this one specifically.

This was another one I stumbled across by accident, but hadn't been aware of the negativity it had gotten until after I discovered it. But yeah, that's one I also really enjoyed.

Oh absolutely! My biggest criticism is it feels like the game was gonna be something more. Like, I wonder if its the live service aspect being removed, but I very much get the sense that parts were structured around something that is no longer there.
