Thanks to the small, yet mighty ABC team, who worked tirelessly to share the festival with the nation. Huge thank you to Stephanie Boltje - who has the hardest job at Garma, wrangling me!

Thank you to all the Yolngu custodians, Denise Bowden, YYF, & Jason Frenkel for having us on Country. Thanks to Kelly Williams, Professor Jackie Huggins, and Bridget Brennan for grounding our coverage at the ABC.

Commemorated #ANZACDay in NYC, with a very thoughtful service, poignantly beginning with powerful words honouring veterans, from an Elder of the Lenape people.
I reflected on the service & sacrifice of members of my family. Grateful for them & their commitment to our shared values.

For me, this summit has an important connection to the past. I was a youth delegate to the 2007 United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, in New York. It gave me a powerful grounding in this important global forum and the issues raised here.
I’m really thrilled to be hosting and moderating the conversation - details of how to connect below.
Thanks to ABC Managing Director David Anderson for backing and making this trip happen.
I’m really honoured to be travelling with my colleague and friend Kelly Williams, ABC Director of First Nations Strategy, to Paris, to attend the UNESCO summit in to Enhancing Indigenous Representation in the Media and Equal Participation in the Media Industry.
