...is this just donkey kong bananza IN SPACE?
Posts by neon/drftr
So far I think the must have games for the switch 2 are just pokopia, Mario kart world, and donkey Kong bananza.
Also, I just got star wars outlaws for it and yeah it's a really good port!
In case you don't believe me about Trumps latest insane post.
I'm just kinda speechless.
Ok I know I try to avoid the political shit but uh, I feel like Trump's latest truth social post kinda insinuates he's gonna drop a nuke on Iran.
Trump more than anything is a narcissist and he loves infamy. There's no doubt in my mind he'd love to be the president to drop a modern nuke today.
Compared to the Console Wars book, which is more Sega centric, this one is more Nintendo focused and I'm having a blast listening.
The Console Wars book is great as well! Highly recommend both of these!
Fox McCloud in the Super Mario Galaxy movie is really big news honestly.
Super hyped at this point to see how weird this story is gonna get.
Damn I played pokopia for 4 hrs straight this morning.
Believe. The. Hype.
How has it been?! It's what I always wanted animal crossing to be! Sandbox? Yes. Story with adventure and plot? YES. OPEN WORLDS? YESSSSSS
Hey! You enjoying pokopia? I haven't played a Pokemon game since Ruby but I'm hooked!
And my wife has never played Pokemon. Also hooked! Turns out her fave pokemon is Slowpoke lol
Today is a car maintenance today. Bless my car lord, give it strength.
Starbucks ain't even that good
Happy MAR10 day everyone!
*Furiously continues playing pokopia*
Pokopia being the highest rated Pokemon game of all time definitely has me like 👀
If I fart, sometimes I'll blame it on a dog that's not even in the same room as me.
That's how ruthless I am.
Dang OpenAI is directly a part of the war machine now. 👀
Just tried out Bungies MARATHON for the first time.
I don't think any other developer nails the sci fi aesthetic as good as Bungie does. I'm in LOVE with Marathons theme.
But do I like the gameplay? I need to try more to know. 🤔
Fellow #gamers
What should I get for March?
Pokopia
Or
Marathon
????
IT IS MY BIRTHDAY
38 YEARS WOOOOOO
This is because the Google Nest Routers automatically push devices to whatever band they think is best and they often do it wrong. My gaming laptop was running that slow and I couldn't use GeForce Now reliably at all.
But now, any device I want in the fast lane, STAYS in the fast lane, it's awesome
I haven't posted in a while because life got really busy.
But I wanna mention that my birthday is tomorrow and as a nerdy gift to myself, I bought a new router for my wifi.
Replacing the Google Nest Wifi Pro routers with an ASUS RT-BE82U boosted my download speeds from 25 Mbps to over 1k Mbps.
Addicted to Sonic Rumble lately. SO GOOD.
ANYWAYS, I had my experience of what it was like to launch an LLC. Maybe someday down the road I can take a crack at it again with a different idea or angle. But I can say this. Though I'm not any richer from the money, I am richer for the experience, and that, I can carry with me just fine.
She claimed that I looked like a druggie from my profile picture and after I eased tensions and calmed her concerns, she became a "friend"? that always gave unsolicited business advice to me and once photoshopped my face onto a stock photo of a tech pro helping an old man at a computer. WEIRD.
For example, there was a lady on Nextdoor that immediately started hounding me to prove that I wasn't a murdering rapist looking for an excuse to visit unassuming and helpless women.
The ambition started with the idea that I could build custom computers for people or help them with existing tech issues. No one ever showed interest in the custom computer side of things and the tech issue consultation was slim.
I will say it was weird putting myself out there though...
Not sure if I ever explicitly stated what the LLC was here.
But it was a travelling IT tech service type of thing. I wanted to be a "Geek Squad" on wheels. I come to you! The most business I ever got was a couple family/friends and one real customer who needed help sorting text messages.
