Isegahama Oyakata has a son, how would he feel if his son was assaulted by someone entrusted to train & care for his son.
Less than 1 year as Oyakata, he is already causing harm, be it alcohol fuelled or not. Shameful.
A grand champion Yokozuna doesn’t
automatically equate to a decent Oyakata.

Having terrified deshi accompany the Oyakata to the JSA hearing, to clarify their own understanding of the Oyakata’s violent assault on a deshi, is sadly not a surprise, it is an absurd farce. Reflective of JSA’s opaque and inconsistent disciplinary process.
Better say the ‘right’ thing or else…
