Hey, that's really cool, and a good example of the kinds of things you can make if you're willing to use LLMs as a tool for learning rather than a machine that just mindlessly and unsatisfactorily produces the end product for you.

I hate the way that people treat that "AI causes cognitive impairment" study as though it discovered that using AI emits some kind of toxic gas that fucks your brain up. No! It impairs people who cognitively offload everything to it! It's possible to use it in a way that engages your mind instead!
(And despite Fox News' insane editorial bias, their polling and election analysis is generally regarded as high quality.)
Looked into it a little closer, and it seems to have used the Fox News Voter Analysis survey, which is, well, a survey, and not hard data. I'm not sure actual voter data is available for these demos? In any case, the maker only made this map. Here's the data source: www.foxnews.com/elections/20...
six months and counting!
is this really worth doing versus just using pen and paper?
which is too many words to say "no, they don't have a chance"
two could hang on if the GOP have a far better than expected election, but if that happens, the democrats have much bigger problems than virginia
oh it's definitely pretty subconscious and I think most people engaging in it would not do so if they intellectually grasped what was going on
so much of online discourse is about contriving permissions structures to engage in behaviour that would otherwise be socially unacceptable
it is hard to understate just how much the GOP depends on louisiana and mississippi being unfathomably racist
yes, very good
those are incredible pleading eyes in the last picture
this is more intellectually honest than the vast majority of republican apologia
this is why we need to ultimately get away from geography-based representation altogether
it's nice that the shoe is on the other foot for once
yep, it's a religious mindset
his view of "health" is that if you live life "the right way," you will be rewarded with good health. if you're sick, it's because you were living wrong, therefore you deserve what happens to you. it's one of the most evil postures one can have toward humanity
that's what I've seen saying! people have been making incorrect assumptions about why it sucks. the real reasons are so much more infuriating
conservatives have been fighting dirty for as long as I can remember and when they finally get their eyes poked, they can't handle it at all lol
this guy needs to learn about the paradox of tolerance
the whole concept of selecting judges needs to change. I like the idea that each circuit gets to send one judge to the supreme court for a fixed term, and it's the judges of those circuits that vote for who goes. makes it much harder for partisan politics to score big wins due to timely deaths
it also just defeats the purpose of a primary. it's just a straight up runoff election in a two-party system, which is already dumb, but also, the runoff occurs months later, which is extra dumb
starting to feel like the supreme court is unsalvageable in its current form. forget packing the court; the whole thing needs to be completely different and rebuilt from the ground up
open source seems like the obvious bet when sovereignty is important to you. the big sore spot is tech support, but I can imagine that's something that could be spun up internally like the rest of the system
they were driving an aqua teen hunger force car
right, and my point is that something is happening that's making these people sick that seems directly related to the data centres. maybe it's infrasound and maybe it's not, but we need to be taking the problem seriously whatever it is
in my case, it was barely audible, so no, not quite infrasound, but the noise wasn't what was bothering me. it was the rumbling and sense of vibration. it made me feel sick
I always worry about the migratory birds who have come back
