They may not have SAID BPD in as many words, but they did say, in as many words, that Yuyu "needs someone to be dependent on to be stable" and much of the story around her, including things like "Mai has a crush on her but can't be with her" simply snaps into place if she's quiet BPD.

In retrospect it's kind of funny that the anime decided Misuzu was manipulative and that her rare skill might be able to control minds (it can't), whereas the stage play was like "actually Yuyu just has borderline personality disorder"

"Canon is divded" because while she's dead in both the anime and stage play continuities, in the anime continuity it's somewhat implied that she was mentally and emotionally manipulative of Yuyu, but in the stage play she's so protective of Yuyu she arguably comes back to life to protect her again.

One of the few short hair Lilies, one of two Lilies who uses "boku" self-pronoun, and also that her English dub voice actress is trans, means Misuzu is definitely(*) 100%(**) without a doubt(***) transgender.
