On December 1, Tallinn and Harju County are set to launch a redesigned and more secure - MiFare Plus 128-bit AES encrypted Ühiskaart (public transport card) in two new designs. Existing Ühiskaart cards will remain valid, and no replacement is required.

The new tram line to A-Terminal of the Port of Tallinn is almost ready. Grand opening on 28th of November and normal operations commence from the 1st of December. Tallinn will invest more than 100 million EUR on new tramlines in the next few years.

Tallinn is reviving the once cancelled Main Street project and will base it on the 8-year old idea competition winner design, which will drastically change the heart of the city. Improved walkability, additional ways of mobility and added greenery are the key project goals.
