Last night on stream we made the Skyrim leek & cheese crostata from the official Elder Scrolls cookbook!
I'm really happy with how it turned out, it was delicious!
A sweetroll on a plate. The honey cake is baked to a golden brown and the ivory icing is drizzled over the top. Delicious. There is a blanket and a window in the background.
Behold! ๐
I made sweetrolls yesterday using the Elder Scrolls Cookbook. They were delicious. ๐งก

It reminds me of my spiced plum mousse recipe, but that in a soup form would be sublime!

Made my* famous beef and bacon pie for a holiday pot luck today.
*Recipe is from the official Game of Thrones cookbook.

For what it's worth, publishers often make me decrease the amount of salt in recipes. Apparently not everyone likes to eat it directly out of the salt pig like I do. ๐คฃ
I also did a new Star Trek cookbook, that I think is a lot more palatable than the original, fwiw. ๐๐ป
So good! How'd it turn out?
Those all look amazing!
Awesome job, those look perfect!
I just made a loaf of this last week, for the first time in ages! Looks great!
We had chicken as well, since there were only four of us, but that cranberry chutney is a staple I look forward to all year long!
Or a Moot? ๐
Happy first snow, and happy feasting to those celebrating Thanksgiving today! May your tables be laden and the company fine.
Had a really nice mini Thanksgiving dinner with immediate family tonight- kids didn't eat anything, but my partner and I had a lovely dinner. ๐คฃ
Wishing you all a delicious day tomorrow!
Welcome to everyone new to Bluesky! Hope to get posting new recipes and fun stuff soon!
Although, uh, looking at the article, the "HUNDREDS OF RECIPES!!" confused for page numbers is a strange take. ๐
Thanks for looking out for me, as always! ;)
Let's talk fantasy foods!
I'm planning my cooking, and I'd love to hear what's on your short list. I'm leaning towards revisiting the Gentlemen Bastards, but the worlds of Sarah J Maas are also woefully lacking in real recipes.
What recipes/dishes/worlds would help get you through the winter?
EANT, OBVS. First thought was a bochet, actually, where you caramelize the honey before fermenting... ๐
I have IDEAS. ๐
Ooh, curious to hear how it goes! I've done just a little, but seen them used to awesome effect!
I'm pleased to announce the launching of my new Patreon page! I'm hoping this will be an awesome place for all of us to connect, develop and enjoy recipes, and share ideas about where the Inn at the Crossroads should go next!

If I were considering exploring some tried and true blog/cookbook recipes in an exciting new way, would you rather see my own favorites from over the years, or the most popular recipes? Other quirks and tidbits would you love to see? Making-of, BTS, new twists? What ARE your favorite IatC recipes?
