yeah I think this is only valid advice to a writer struggling with writer's block, where part of the point is that it's actually not going to be that bad when you come back to it

I'm watching Beef S2 and it's Very Good but they put text messages on screen and everyone is using a period at the end. That's wrong, no? Or did people start doing periods at the end of texts without telling me
This is a really good essay, and not really what the accompanying skeet makes it sound like
Honestly, I watched one and it seemed like it was set to auto-switch the visual to who was speaking, even if they just said "uh huh" or something, and it made me kind of nauseous with these quick cuts all the time

yeah, I mean, if that excuse is "he's possessed by demons now" I'm kind of like OK but you're out then, right? (not gonna argue about the demons)
OK, so here's the deal: If you want to use the thing they're calling AI, you are personally responsible for whatever decisions you make in light of it, or for whatever outputs you trust, whatever. No caveats, no excuses, no sympathy. This should be the legal standard, and it's already a compromise
I think it's a mashup of a soldier, an eagle, and the Statue of Liberty?
Thanks to the folks checking out After The Great Redo. Took a while to write blog posts form an imagined future but i think it turned out OK. I hope so anyway.

Hey, that's me! Not, you know, the talking, but the words being said
Always take Trump at his word
But he contradicts himself!
Exactly, there's nothing deeper than that
Yeah there are also these comments Kubiak made about it not being ideal for a rookie QB to start right away... so I think probably Cousins starts the season. But if we presume they're bad, Mendoza will get in there sooner than later. Kind of like the Giants last year
I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the whole season if they're winning games, but since I don't think they'll be winning games... when's their bye week lol
Humans are not "bootloaders" for digital intelligence and machines don't have feelings, no matter what Silicon Valley programmers say.
I wrote about the anti-human AI movement:

maybe worth noting, given resonances between the AVTF and ICE that I also view immigration as an unqualified good
Watching Daredevil: Born Again is weird for me because: 1) NYC is one of the safest cities in the country at this point; 2) I oppose vigilantism in principle; and 3) I find Fisk to be exponentially more likable than Trump
I think I'm suspending disbelief in too many different directions
God has infinite genders

I got to thinking about the -maxxing online verbal tic—the thing "Looksmaxxing" made widespread. The truth is: online life is intrinsically extremist in every way, and Maxxxing is finally honest about that perversion.
My understanding is that they are working on a tool to allow people to make custom feeds that involves AI. That's the part people are upset about, but from what I've gathered they aren't planning to force it on anyone

New article! Many folks love their AI companions, and some philosophers argue current systems should count as "friends" functionally: they reciprocate "care" through positive intentions and rewarding experiences. 1/
