The first batch of CDs will be available as part of the @wormholeworld.bsky.social June bundle, being released in around a month's time.

By the way, I'm mainly over here (see below) at the moment as I have a thing coming out on Wormhole World in June under this name
@rolandoakes.bsky.social
Haven't listened to this one in a while so I thought it would be a good one to start with.
A Sunday morning work session today, with the soundtrack provided by some of the more ambient/experimental/non-music niceness. Starting with this from @heavycloud.bsky.social

My first ever thing that I didn't just put out myself.
I dug out a couple of old Nows earlier and I couldn't find any similar credits. It does look very similar though.
My 13 year old has now taken over the turntable. This really is rather good.
Some absolute belters on this Levi's compilation from 1982, courtesy of my very generous @vinylsanta.bsky.social last year.
I'll be posting mainly from my @rolandoakes.bsky.social account for a while as I've got one of those CD things coming out under that name on the wonderful @wormholeworld.bsky.social in June.
It would be lovely if you could follow me there.
These are my #weekendsingles for this week.
To be specific, disc 3.
I've got 1-8 the 89 compilation and the Spirit of Ecstacy one. Great compilations, particularly the early ones.
I think this was a RSD one, although I could be wrong
I've got a few like that. I bought a Pop Will Eat Itself record because it was in the bargain bin in Woolies and I just loved the sleeve.
Hustle! I loved that and I've got that 7 as well. Not a tune you really hear any more
Eric B and Rakim โค๏ธ
I love all of those. When I was little my mum had 4 Abba tapes and I'd listen to them again and again.
I'm off to the Lark Lane record fair in a bit.
Because my 13 year old daughter wants to go.
I think my job is done.
Listening to that on a Deep Heat compilation in the late 80s made me realise that there was so much dance music out there that just wasn't on the radio or on my radar. And so the journey of discovery began.
My first time seeing @warringtonruncorn.com last night at the Capstone in Liverpool. Great music, great visuals and an all round great night. And gigs where you can sit down are beginning more and more appealing.
From my experience, "worn" is significantly better than "good".
"Good" is simply short for "not good".
I don't know that. I'll give it a listen.
Ha - that took me a moment to work out! I didn't have the Steve Walsh version unfortunately!
I haven't posted in #weekendsingles for months. Kind of got out of the habit when I couldn't get to the records for a while last year. Here are a few random 12"s. Been nice to have a little dig in the collection again.
One of those very rare evenings when I'm left to my own devices.
I've got a couple of those Simon Harris records and they're absolute gold.
The originals are coming out on Wormhole World in June. Then, some remixes are coming out in August. I stole a beat from the Simon Harris record for one of the tracks and I was just putting the bits together for one of remixers this morning, including sending them the source of the sample.
That's really sad. I was thinking of him just this morning as I was using something from vol 2 of that series for something I've been working on.
This was money very well spent. Me and my good lady had a rare evening without kids a couple of weeks ago and we watched this. The soundtrack is absolutely perfect for the film.
