I'm working on the sequel to the first book in which I chastise myself for writing about a great love story and then, post-writing, get divorced. It's about the menopausal single mommy trying to date and deciding fuck it, I like Netflix better.

I played The Ryman in Nashville last night as part of a celebration of Judy Collins' 85th birthday. She discovered me 20 years ago and changed my life. It was a dream to play that stage and an honor to do it with Judy.

I was so blessed to work with Sid on that project and to tour with him for a summer. I miss him.

As this country is so full of division, I am loving this little thing I'm doing. So far, on this flight, I've got 4 new smiles and a guy that's coming to my show tonight. Start small. Get out of your comfort zone.

I used to be a grumpy morning person. Some called me aloof but I was just in fear. I've gotten in the habit of talking to people in line at Southwest and asking them about themselves. 99% of the time they tell me a cool story. There's a song in there.

Headed to Texas this weekend. Doing my folk solo thing. Gonna bring the new record, play some new songs, wear red boots from Allen's and eat some migas.

This is what's up next for me and I'm so honored to be playing this show with the woman who gave me a career. Judy Collins changed my life.
