Labour didn't win the GE thanks to McSweeney, as some are trying to say. They won because everybody hated the Tories. Mcsweeney has hamstrung Labour, stopped them delivering the real change people voted for. His advice, and Starmer's folly of taking it, is a big reason why they are so unpopular.
