'Troubling times: Climate crisis, future geographies and queer theory' by Amy Robson

With some examples from my favourite pop girlie, Chappell Roan, I explore the heteronormativity of apocalypse narratives and instead advocate for queer environmental ethics, which look beyond attempts to save the future.

I am so excited to see this article out! Published today, my latest article reviews work within human geography on climate futures, and work outside of human geography on queer time. Here, I argue that planetary imaginaries are entangled in the policing of intimacies.

Streeting/Starmer can no longer claim Cass is “gold standard” or “landmark”.
