They’re honestly super easy to make, it’s a little like a Dutch baby pancake but maybe a little thicker?

The key is to use plain flour instead of self raising. I use gluten free all purpose because I can’t eat gluten lol. I prefer them savoury but they are good with fruit etc too!

I know it’s not a typical American dinner, but we did the best with what is available to us in Japan. I also added some dishes from my home country as it’s what I know and am good at.

Gluten free Yorkshire Pudding

No kidding, this might be the best Yorkie I’ve ever made.

I used all purpose gluten free flour and instead of hand whisking I blended it and it came out so smooth and was soooo fluffy 😭

Got the meat out whilst the pudding cooked and it came out so tender I barely needed to slice it.

Freshly roasted potatoes

Yorkshire pudding batter ready to be baked. An old English struggle food that’s a staple of many meals. It’s flour, eggs, and milk whisked/blended together and baked. Can be savoury or sweet.

Roast potatoes came out after 30 mins (with regular turning) AMAZING. Crispy outside and fluffy on the inside.

The Yorkshire pudding batter goes in next, this gets baked for 20 mins without the air fryer being disturbed (otherwise it collapses)

Beef joint slow cooking in a crock pot

Meat has been cooking on low for almost 8 hours, it smells amazing and it’s basically done.

I used beef stock and onions, and I’ll use the drippings to make gravy after 😏
