If you're really interested in the Stop Killing Games movement or being able to play the games you paid for even after the Publisher ends its service, or you want something to play in the background, watch this: youtu.be/QXdmoeaYZ9Y?...

I haven't. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a looksie.
I think the current era of kart racing games are a little too chaotic to me. It feels like it's too much about getting as many items as possible. Rolling the dice as much as you can. That means driving skill is less important. I think I'd enjoy a kart racing game that is more limiting and strategic.
Between feeling like an idiot and never learning that I was one, I prefer the former
Yea I had to look this up because I had just played Gungrave. This isn't Gungrave. This is Gungage.
So, what's everyone think about Pokemon Champions? I don't know much about Pokemon in general, but I watched someone else analyze it, and it looks very monetized with the battle passes, memberships, and its unclear to me how you obtain VP.
A video I didn't expect to come from Bernie Sanders. He converses with Anthropic's Claude to gain a better understanding of how safe our privacy is and how AI in general should be addressed: www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3At...
I returned to Street Fighter 2 V expecting it to be cringe and boring but its actually been pretty entertaining. But, you do need to let go of your attachment to SF2 lore a bit: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yvs...
Thought of this band randomly after not hearing their music for like a decade or something. Their music is godly. Symphonic metal.

Lol I didn't know that. That makes it even funnier.
Eggs of Steel cover for PS1
Played a game called Eggs of Steel for PS1 yesterday. It looks terrible but its surprisingly more fun than expected. This game went hard on the cutscenes and the flavor is super goofy. I actually love it haha:
Top gear 2 Super Nintendo cover
A retro game I was surprised to enjoy yesterday was Top Gear 2 for SNES. The perspective can be a little jarring when you're going up hills and its difficult to get passed that first race, but once you do, there are a lot of upgrade paths and they do good job of conveying speed
I'm in a really weird situation. My bro visited me like 9-10 years ago. He wants to visit me again. My brother is brown and given the current political administration, I'm worried about whether he'd get shit. I dunno if I'm worrying for nothing, but the fear is there.
I was looking forward to Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, but I saw some updated gameplay of the Avatar Fighting game, now I'm looking more forward to that. I don't see Avatar games too often and it looks cool.
Plok SNES Cover art
I've been playing a lot of Plok lately. It's a platformer for the SNES.
Bads: Obstacle indication, bullet helly sometimes, might find it ugly
Good: The music is awesome, most levels and bosses have clear differences, weird in an interesting way.
And, if the homeowner doesn't allow you to, then there may be something sus about their house, so move on.
To all who it may concern. Before you decide to buy a house, get a plumber, and get a camera down those pipes. The last homeowner of my mom's house didn't say that they were dumping cooking grease down the kitchen sink and wet wipes down the toilet, so we're just screwed. Spend $400 and be sure.
Roll Away Playstation 1 cover
Last week, I think my favorite game that I played was Roll Away (aka: Kulaworld) for the PS1. Never heard of this game until yesterday. The premise is really simple. You move a ball, grab keys, get to the exit. But, your center of gravity can change if you roll passed certain edges
I set a goal on Twitch and with chat's help, we achieved it. It's the first time I set a monetary goal ($100). I definitely feel weird about it, but it was because I sunk like $2800 into something I only use for stream, so I felt justified in setting a goal to try to get some of that back.
And obviously, love the music
Last week, I'd say my favorite retro game was F-Zero X for N64. I don't think my brain is big enough to play that game well, but they really conveyed the speed in that game. In one moment, I felt like I was driving in a washing machine Lol. But, it was fun overall.
Tenchu Stealth Assassins PS1 cover
Last week, retro game I really enjoyed was Tenchu Stealth Assassins for the PS1. When I was in high school, I did not appreciate the OST enough. And, for PS1, the movement is pretty fun. I felt pretty ninja while playing this game. I need to come back and beat it.
Lol honestly, sounds pretty timely
Spiderman 2 for Gameboy Color
Spiderman 2 for the Gameboy Color technically isn't a BS game to play but it's extremely simple and easy. Each enemy is largely the same. Stand next to them, attack them, they die. The game makes it very easy to know where to go by constantly directing you while you idle. But, no challenge is no fun
Astro Boy Omega Factor for Gameboy Advance
This is my first retro game of the week. I think the retro game I enjoyed the most last week was Astro Boy: Omega Factor for GBA. You have mobility and iframe options, combat options with clear trade offs, plenty of super options and a boss I enjoyed but couldn't beat in 30 min. Lol.
Dang. Lol.
That's awesome. I've been using Mix it Up for like 4-5 years. If you ever want help or wanna bounce ideas off of me, just let me know.
Streamelements has cool widgets, but you can do a lot with Mix It Up, Streamer bot, and Fire bot. And, there are other places to get chat widgets and so on for free.
RIP
Gaming is not for the elite. Gaming is for those who want to have fun. If a game feels like shit and mods exist to improve it for you, mod it till its in a state that's enjoyable for you. That's what I'll do for Silksong since it's game design appears to lack empathy for the player.
