Top approximately 1/4 o th photo is mostly blue sky with a few wisps of clouds. The next 1/2 of the photo downward is mostly heavy cloud cover. Hilss with dense forest lie below that, with a small city along a very distant shoreline at the base of the hills. The water edge ends about 1/5 of the way up the photo, and the beach that makes up the bottom of the photo is still wet. There are a number of distant white dots on the beach.
Nothing quite says "Pacific Northwest Spring" like standing in the hot sun while getting rained on, as I was while taking tonight's 9 o'clock photo.

Cookies I baked for the writing club’s last meeting of the year: triple chocolate with salted caramel topping, triple chocolate-covered cherry, and gluten free chocolate chip.
Another year of writing club came to a close with today’s meeting. I’ll miss the kids this summer, and the lone senior making her way toward a world I believe she will move toward a better place. But today was about a celebration of the year that was. With cookies, of course.
