I don't know how it'll work out, but the new mechanic in Secrets of Strixhaven, whereby a "magic user" can cast a classic Magic: the Gathering spell like Lightning Bolt, Swords to Plowshares, or Ancestral Recall is super meta and I love it.

One thing I absolutely hate about vintage vinyl is double albums with one record having sides 1 and 4 on it, and the other side having 2 and 3. And I fully understand that it was a very clever solution to automate things for certain audiophiles, but yeesh. I'm glad we stopped that nonsense.

I do that for everything these days. It's great! Local bookstore, hardware store. Local vacuum store! Discogs and TCGplayer for music and gaming, (Which are all local shops, just not near me.)

I've maybe spent $50 in the last year at Amazon, all for things which literally had no other way to order.
