Bonobos Are More Optimistic After Hearing Laughter A new study shows that bonobos, our closest living relatives along with chimpanzees, are more optimistic after hearing laughter.

Saw this article @lisahickey.bsky.social re hearing laughter increasing optimism. Despite the many depressing aspects of #fostercare and the lack of biological attachment, what keeps me positive is his laughter with his friends and our laughter together.

Love this! Thanks for the great examples. I think good, consistent punctuation is one of the underutilized—and misunderstood—ways to insure your script is clear, easy-to-read, and "voicey". And I personally love dashes and ellipses. Among other things...

Westchester YMCA donations are volunteers. They need gently used clothing and shoes, blankets, stuffed animals, children’s books, can food, medical supplies, pet supplies, diapers, wipes, soap, toothbrushes, shampoo, clothing, detergent, reasonable bags. If you have any of the above or you’re able to donate, we will be collecting items at the Westchester YMCA today, Friday, January 10 from 5 to 6 PM. We will provide donations to the Westchester Y and those who you may know who Were personally affected. The YMCA will they deliver those donations to shelters and other locations serving those in need.
