I have a HSS Charvel and really want to change it all out for SSS Bare Knuckle Trilogy Suite but it’s a direct mount humbucker in the bridge 😭

This has been a dreadful season as a Spurs fan and it looks likely to get so much worse but at least there’s the Arsenal bottle job to enjoy

Kemet board game in play

First game of Kemet last night ! Lots of fun! Heavy conflict games can be a bit marmite with our group but this went down a treat as the city of losing a battle is rarely too severe #boardgames

I listened to it 3 times yesterday, I’d LOVE to hear more of this!

Anyone who received their postal ballot today in the South of Scotland region, please be aware that "Independent Green Voice", which appears second on the list on the peach regional ballot paper, is NOT the Scottish Green Party. This is in fact a deliberate vote spoiling attempt by right-wingers.

Just had to look up what ‘aura farming’ is and a) my age is really starting to show and b) I’m still not even sure I know what it means

Pragmata looks very much like My Kind Of Thing

I’m pretty gutted they are moving to make way for yet more restaurants on a stretch of that street dominated by mediocre restaurants. It’s within walking distance of my office so it’s a grey lunchtime distraction and my 8 year old son absolutely LOVES the shop. Hope they stay local.

Lads, I’m playing Resident Evil 2 (1998) and I’m having an absolute whale of a time

Saw this handsome heron up at Holyrood Park this afternoon

It was also my first time in Ocean Terminal in nearly 10 years, when I finished up my last job in Leith.

What on earth has happened there? A complete shell of itself, barely any functional businesses left. It was never exactly bustling but I used to enjoy popping in at lunchtime for a browse

Took the boy to see Super Mario Galaxy this morning. It was fun!

Don’t quite understand the storm of vitriol against a fairly well put together kids’ film 🤷‍♀️

Just saw it with my 8yo son and we both enjoyed it - good fun, nice visuals and plenty of nice references and humour without any of it feeling too forced.

Some of the scathing reviews are way OTT.

RE Zero is a slog, even early on. Again, I think I last played it around 2005 but my memories of it are much more generous than the reality. It’s not scary, the dual character system is fiddly and inventory management is so very frustrating. Also it’s riddled with visual bugs on the Steam Deck.

The Costa Del Porty was a treat today too

Looking towards Arthur’s Seat from the Figgate Park, Edinburgh. Grass is in the foreground, a pond in the mid ground and Arthur’s Seat is in the background, partly obscured by trees. The sky is blue with scattered clouds.

Edinburgh is really showing off for spring today. Figgate Park looking glorious.

Well, that’s my first playthrough of REmake since 2005 or 2006 done. It’s just sublime, and hasn’t dated anywhere near as much as you might think.

I’m toying with the idea of replaying the whole series, which would take me most of the year.

Speaking of which… on to Resident Evil Zero (groan)

Every time Trump opens his mouth, my pension saving fall, petrol prices go up and the interest rate for my upcoming mortgage renewal increases.

I reckon I’ll probably be £250 a month worse off by the end of the year, maybe more, because of the giant orange toddler.

Project Hail Mary is very good but 20-30 minutes too long. I was staggered to find out that the test screening was apparently 3 hours 45 mins long

Just listening to it now. Really impressed. There’s bits that remind me a lot of Wimtersun.

I love Daniel Heiman. Those two Lost Horizon albums were a huge part of me getting into to metal 20+ years ago. He did an album a year or two ago with Sacred Outcry that was pretty good.

The fact that it won’t fit on to the shelves of my TV unit horizontally still boils my piss after 5 years tbh

I’m pretty sure I still have one in the attic, hopefully it hasn’t red-ringed itself in the last 10 years
