I bought some as my Octopus tariff have reduced rates several times a day. They cost me circa £5K. They will have paid for themselves inside 5 years.

My cousins and I youth hostel Ed around there in our early teens. 6 of us the eldest was 15. Youngest 11. 2 girls.
Used that railway.
The public transport system we used to get there has gone. We’re met once when 2 of us went home .
No other contact with families.
No phone.
No problems.

Not seen one of those but I saw a Holly Blue at the allotment. To complete the list of spring butterflies seen this year. Comma, Peacock, Tortoiseshell, Brimstone & Orange Tip.
Cabbage White have also been seen but they don’t bring joy like the others.

My problem with using dandelions like that is that they are a preferred over wintering site for slugs in my garden.
I just lose lettuce if they are that close.

I saw an Orange Tip yesterday but not that close. I didn’t stay to be photographed!

We rode on the train from Sheffield to Roveretto in Italy. It took a while. Over night to Munich then the Brenner pas to Italy.
The main problem was we arrived in Italy in the siesta and couldn’t get a taxi to the car hire to get us over the hill to Arco!

Eggstraodinarily bright this morning!

My grand children cycle to school in Edinburgh, Portobello. As do their neighbours’ children.

You need to stop taking them. It is hard to stop as they are addictive.

Wonder if the guys in there ever wonder what those solar flares are doing to the cells in their brains?
They are outside the protection of the magnetosphere the aurora is demonstrating!

Mr & Mrs Brown regularly visit out back yard. The male blackbird has given us his song from a neighbour’s tree several times today.
Mrs B gives me the eye when I get up in a morning if there is nothing out for her to eat.

Yesterday in my walk to my allotment in Sheffield I say 1 Brimstone, 2 Tortoiseshell & a peacock. Also heard a Chiff-Chaff & Blackcap

I had one of these for several years.
I also have an asparagus bed.
The blanched new growth is an interesting shade of pale yellow. But it arrives at about the same time as asparagus.
Kale flavour = fancy cabbage
Asparagus = fancy peas.
My children preferred peas.
