Similar with a Jack Russel who seems to expect that the entire bed is his personal space and moans loudly if I dare try and straighten my legs. Shhhh

What a load of nonsense “ people enjoyed isolation”. As one still isolated for the most part and masked to the hilt if ( rare) I go anywhere with a roof it’s horrible. What a load of balldedash

Oh yes I can. Asda has left bread off my order for 2 weeks! Interestingly I gained 2 eggs as the ones I had ordered were out of stock.

Such excitement must tell you. I have a rose flowering for St George’s day. However it is the David Austin Queen Marguerite named in honour of the Queen of Holland. Are we expecting an invasion of the House of Orange again!

Heard Canada is having a surge of covid admissions. Any chance you know which strain. Here in UK just a vaccination but I think it was based on JN1

Such a pretty picture that. Well it’s all going to pot down here today. The local railway station has no WiFi and the TESCO had a power outage so no chilled or frozen food today also. Funny how in the last few years these “ innovations” to make life easier actually can bring things to a standstill

Morning. Anyone coming about the dishwasher? Raining quite heavily here today thank goodness I managed to get in and out yesterday in murky drizzle. Apparently it’s going to be “ sunshine” on Saturday.

I think the need to reach the projected speed then stop meant that they were likely to slow down soon after reaching near the speed in order not to sail past the stops ( it was a Joke) thus the argument that they would be quicker…?

Ahhhhh. Trouble is they are building now quite large urban centres here in Devon and they are filing our roads overloading our water treatment works etc, without a railway station. It’s all a bit of a mess I think

Good point. However, for the rest of us wanting local services monies spent reopening branch lines that could carry passengers and freight ..that makes more sense time but good point

Thank you. However it begs the question “ to whom”,doesn’t it? A monolith to the the absurdity of even thinking that a smallish island could facilitate trains at very high speed without either entering the waters of either the Irish or North Sea.

Hello. What use is the bat tunnel now I mean the pot things were gone within hours of them starting work. Is it of any use now?

Morning. Yes sun shining here though a little chilly. Best of luck with Tesco today. I have broken my resolve and ordered some Zinnias. Actually because the neighbour that grew them for me died in February. (52 from Breast Cancer) Will plant them as a remembrance

Oh I do enjoy your visits to HS2. Not a hope of ever finishing it have they. Technology keeps catching them out so they keep maintaining the lines that will never see trains
