Und schon lohnt sich das Speichellecken der US-Tech-Oligarchen. Trump fordert, dass die EU ihre Wettbewerbsverfahren gegen US-Techunternehmen wie Apple & Google einstellen soll. Unsere Antwort muss klar sein: in Europa gilt EU-Recht und alle haben sich daran zu halten. Punkt.

Für uns als @spdde.bsky.social und @spdeuropa.bsky.social gilt weiterhin: keine Deals mit Rechtsextremen, keine Toleranz für die Intoleranten, kein Fußbreit dem Faschismus. ✊🌹

Was in Deutschland noch Tabu ist, ist in Europa schon Alltag: Zusammenarbeit mit der AfD. Und das obwohl Merz gerade noch die Brandmauer beschworen hat. Entweder ihn interessiert sein Geschwätz von gestern nicht oder er ist so schwach, dass er keine Kontrolle über seine Leute hat.

Von der Leyen macht den italienischen Postfaschisten Raffaele Fitto zum geschäftsführenden Vizepräsidenten, während Weber im Parlament regelmäßig & offen mit rechtsextremen Parteien paktiert, auch mit der AfD. Inakzeptabel.

Ich stimme heute der neuen Rechtsruck-Kommission von Ursula von der Leyen nicht zu. Warum? CDU/CSU um von der Leyen & Manfred Weber bauen lieber mit AfD & Co. eine Rechtsruck-Kommission statt eine Koalition der politischen Mitte. Wir haben keine Vertrauensgrundlage mehr.

Case in Point: Am selben Abend, an dem Weber eine Vereinbarung zur Zusammenarbeit mit uns unterschrieb, tat er sich gleich wieder mit Rechtsextremen zusammen, und versuchte durch grobe Disinformation die Ernennung von Teresa Ribera zu delegitimieren. Das werden harte 5 Jahre.

Trotzdem bleibt die Situation besorgniserregend. Der Schaden, den Weber und von der Leyen mit dem Abriss der Brandmauer angerichtet haben, ist groß. Sie bauen offen Mehrheiten mit Rechtsextremen und sabotieren jetzt schon Umwelt- und Sozialstandards.
