In a weird way, mine was a kinda heartwarming Houston story. Group of randos ran a red light out of a gas station, scraping one car on their way out on that side and then t-boning me in intersection.

They tried to flee, but because it was a major intersection, witnesses intervened and stopped them!

To toot my own horn, Truman has some anxiety issues and greatly prefers me grooming him over a groomer. Took some trial and error, but my dog grooming skills are coming around! Did not ever think that's something I could do.

Truman needed some wine (human food, more accurately) to help adjust to his “only dog” era. As we all did. The incredibly rare late April hoodie weather, in Houston, is a nice bonus.

Adopted the week before Hurricane Harvey. Trauma bonded by sleeping on my face throughout. The face of: “Can you make it stop?”
