A Tale of Two Straits What does the Strait of Hormuz tell us about the Straits of Mackinac?

Oil prices are skyrocketing due to the Iran war halting tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

It's a good reminder about the violence inherent in fossil fuel production - and how the myth of Line 5 staying open for another century is built on B.S.

A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Oh, so you’re looking for a nice house in a good school district with a little curb appeal? Look no further, sheeple! Your suburban wet dream awaits and so does the death of originality, man.

Trump Guts Key Aviation Safety Committee, Fires Heads Of TSA, Coast Guard The committee will technically continue to exist, but it won't have any members to carry out the work of examining safety issues at airlines and airports.

only appropriate political response here is to demand the white house explain how its actions aren’t responsible www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-...

Tom Morello was right.
And now, we are living in the bonafide Rage Against the Machine era.
It is time to organize.
Our government is not failing us, it is actively trying to destroy us.
